"Allude To Murder" written by Emma Kennedy is an intricate piece of literature.  The genre sources are romance/thriller/mystery respectively.

The starting premise of the novel is a train station where several ruffians are beating on a man.  They fall down in the crevice where the trail rails are and decide to abandon the fellow to die by train.  Across the tracks, a girl is watching.... she can't believe what she is seeing and decides to do something that will alter her life......  she gets involved.  Due to her intervention, the local police are called and the bullies quickly disperse as well as an ambulance being summoned.  As she cradles the dying man in her lap, he reaches into his pocket to give her a UPS receipt to give to his brother.

The intrigue and romance escalate from that point.  The box arrives from UPS and contained within is a possible priceless artifact.  She feels inexplicably drawn towards this handsome brother.  What in the world could possibly happen?  Thugs, poisonings, attempted murder, spy games and just possibly some heat... in the form of a love affair?  You betcha!

Emma Kennedy is a wonderful writer.  Surprisingly adept in the manly world of spy games, she draws you into play the game with her.  Along the way she throws in a hot romance for you to savor and enjoy.  I hope you do just that when you curl up and read this tale.... Savor and enjoy it for it is over far too soon.
