When Kirsten and Frank broke up she thought she would never get over it.  She didn’t even know how she was going to pay all the bills with him gone and then came Bradley.  How could she fall for him?  He was gay for crying out loud.  What was it with her and the impossible man?  She knew that she wasn’t the type of woman that any man would find attractive; she’d been told that by Frank many times, so even if Bradley weren’t gay, he’d never find her attractive.

Brad couldn’t believe what his commanding officer was asking him to do; he couldn’t go under cover as a gay man.  He loved women too much, was far too much of a ladies man and the guys in the department would never let him live it down.  But duty called, and he had to do what he had to do.  He just never thought that he would fall for his landlady and never thought that he wouldn’t even be able to let her know.  So, now what was he going to do?

This book was fairly well written but tended to leave me hanging on some of the story lines.  I think the author could have very easily taken this book and made it many pages longer without much effort at all.  I found the characters to be very likeable and easy to get to know.  I especially liked Kirsty’s problem with driving.  That was a laugh out loud experience.

I give this book a *** star rating.  My advice is not to sell yourself short, aim high, because you have great potential.
