Reviewer Rating: *** Stars Greyson runs the town and late sister’s daughter’s life with an iron hand and resists his feelings for Baby because the lives of the women he has loved have all ended tragically. Baby is not the only one in town with a plan to get even with Grey. The action mounts as lives are threatened and evil seems to be winning. The plot turns will keep the reader interested to the exciting end. The writing style is inconsistent and plagued with incorrect verbs and word choice (such as spicket instead of spigot), much of which a better editor could have fixed. But this short western romance involves characters the reader will care about. Copyright © 2000 by Lois Black |
